These are a dozen small bookcases hand made from reclaimed pine. Each board was stripped from all nails, screws, and staples to then be sanded to a smooth finish. The crosses were hand cut with a fret saw, the mortises were chiseled out to a snug fit with key wedges tapped into the through tenons to tighten the shelves. There are still some scars and cracks in the wood which add character and give the bookcases a vintage looking finished product.
